For over 75 years, The Nathaniel Mission has been a partner in the work of restoring dignity and honor to those marginalized and overlooked in urban Lexington.
The Cardinal Valley Park Activity Board is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help build up the community of Cardinal Valley via coordinating and planning the activities in Valley Park (2077 Cambridge Drive) in such a way as to help foster community cohesion. Essentially to create neighbors out of strangers. Our work takes place in a community that lives on and utilizes the Versailles Road (US 60) corridor. Many of the people we serve walk to the park and have limited mobility options.
OneLexington exists to coordinate, leverage and mobilize city government and community resources to reduce gun violence with youth and young adults ages 13 – 29 in the city of Lexington. Our mission is to make Lexington a safer city by reducing gun violence among youth and young adults. Using community-based intervention strategies to combat gun violence, while simultaneously addressing systemic disparities that lead to the root causes of gun violence.
Bridge the Gap Lexington is a ground-zero ministry that seeks and builds relationships with our friends trapped in sex trafficking, addiction, and extreme poverty to impart hope, demonstrate God’s love, and present opportunities for freedom.
